Improved HHO algorithm based on multi-strategy cooperative optimization

Abstract

In order to improve the convergence accuracy and iteration speed of Harris eagle optimization algorithm(HHO), this paper proposed a multi-strategy cooperative optimization improved HHO algorithm(MSHHO). Firstly, this paper used a Latin hypercube sampling to initialize the population to enhance the uniformity of individual distribution in the solution space. Secondly, it introduced the adaptive Archimedes spiral mechanism based on Lévy flight in the local search stage to improve the mining mechanism of the algorithm and effectively enhanced the search rigor of individual neighborhood to improve the convergence accuracy of the algorithm. Finally, considering that the algorithm was prone to fall into the local extremum situation at the later stage of iteration, it adopted the hybrid mutation strategy of Cauchy mutation and reverse learning to alternate the optimal individuals to help them escape from the local extremum region quickly and accelerate the iteration speed of the algorithm. Through the comparative analysis of the solution of benchmark function, Wilcoxon rank sum test and the comparative analysis of CEC2014 complex functions, it confirms the excellent optimization performance and robust robustness of the improved algorithm.
