One modifiable blockchain scheme based on additive homomorphic encryption algorithm

Abstract

The immutability of traditional blockchain limits the development of blockchain technology, research on modifiable blockchain is still in its infancy, many schemes still have many deficiencies in system efficiency and security. To deal with these problems, firstly, this paper proposed an improved blockchain data structure to make it suitable for modifiable functions. Secondly, it designed a master private key synthesis algorithm using homomorphic encryption technology to ensure the security of the private key used for data modification on the chain during the synthesis process. At the same time, it designed a matching mechanism to reduce the communication amount in the private key synthesis process. Finally, it designed an auditing method for modification requests to ensure the rationality and security of auditing modification requests. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme not only has the characteristics of decentralization, but also improves the system security and communication efficiency compared with other schemes.
