Abstract

When recommending items to groups on social networks, most of the existing studies use the complete preferences of group members and some aggregation strategies to generate group recommendation. However, in practice, a user may join a group just because of a part of his/her complete preferences related to the group. In this way, using the complete preferences of group members for recommendation will bring a lot of noise, and damage the effect of recommendation. This paper proposed the HINGR_GT method to solve the above problem. It constructed a group oriented heterogeneous social network sub graph for each group, and excluded members' group independent preferences in advance. On this basis, it used the heterogeneous network representation learning method to generate item recommendation for groups. In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, this paper carried out experiments on Douban Movie dataset, and the results show that the proposed method achieves better results in all evaluation metrics.
