Research on cover selection image steganography algorithm

Abstract

In traditional cover selection image steganography, the relationship between image and secret information needs to be constructed manually, and the robustness is not strong. In response to this problem, this paper proposed a cover selection image steganography algorithm. This algorithm combined the idea of image retrieval, used the discriminator of StarGAN as the feature extractor, mapped the extracted features into secret messages, and directly constructed the relationship between image and secret messages. In order to automatically update the mapping relationship database, this solution used feature update, searching image update and other methods to update the relationship database. Experiments show that this scheme has a higher steganography capacity and better robustness. When the image quality is not high, the extraction accuracy is about 6% higher than the existing methods.
