Conversational machine reading comprehension based on CoBERT-BiGRU

Abstract

This paper proposed the CoBERT-BiGRU model to overcome the shortage that the existing models could not effectively handle multiple turns of dialogue history. The paper marked the conversation history in the passage, and input differences and questions into the CoBERT model to obtain a vectorized representation of multiple sequences. Through history attention network, it combined multiple results into one vectorized representation of a sequence. Then it put fusion results into BiGRU and predicted the answer and dialogue behavior. The experimental results on the real dataset show that the CoBERT-BiGRU model can effectively handle multiple turns of dialogue history. Compared with the baseline model and others that have been published on this dataset, the HEQ-Q, HEQ-D and F1 values have improved.
