Abstract

Using GPS data to generate road network is of great significance to urban traffic. Due to the requirements of the road conditions of the vehicle itself, the road network extracted by the vehicle GPS is mainly for the urban main road and the main road, it ignored the path and the community road network. In order to improve the urban road network, this paper proposed a road topology generation method based on shared single vehicle GPS track. Firstly, it extracted the topological nodes of the road network, and determined the turning point by introducing the trend angle. Then it extracted the road alignment, and segmented the track by the OW algorithm. Based on the DBSCAN algorithm, it proposed a sub track clustering method, and then extracted feature points to generate the road centerline. It verified the accuracy of the road network by using the buffer. The results show that the generated road can not only ensure the topological structure, but also have high coverage.
