Research on importance of events in SFN based on fault mode

Abstract

To study the event importance in the system fault evolution process, and understand the impact of events on fault mode, this paper proposed an event importance analysis method. Based on the idea of importance analysis of complex network nodes in system science, this paper analyzed the event importance in the SFEP for the framework of space fault network. It measured the event importance by analyzing the original fault mode and the change of fault mode after suppression by suppres-sing event occurrence(removing nodes). Quantitative indicators included disability rate, complexity rate, importance and comprehensive importance. It analyzed the event importance from the above different indicators. It illustrated the calculation methods of indicators by a simple SFEP. The results show that different indicators have different emphases on the event importance, and the sort and specific values of the calculated indicators are also different. The research provides a theoretical basis for further study of event importance.
