Cognitive vehicle network cooperative spectrum sensing based on double threshold energy detection

Abstract

In order to solve the problem of shortage of wireless spectrum resources in cognitive car networking environment, this paper proposed a cognitive vehicle network cooperative spectrum sensing method based on double threshold energy detection. The method improved the number of vehicles in the range based on the single threshold to the double threshold, set the middle of the double threshold as the non-decision area, and discarded the local judgment of the vehicle secondary user that was seriously interfered by noise and fell in the non-judgment area. It achieved the purpose of increasing the spectrum awareness success rate of the secondary users, thereby improved the spectrum utilization. The simulation results show that the proposed method can effectively improve the spectrum detection probability under different vehicle density and SNR conditions.
