Research on incremental nearest neighbor query privacy protection based on location semantics

Abstract

Aiming at the problem of location privacy leakage caused by the anonymous area constructed in the LBS query service or the selected anchor point still located in the sensitive area, this paper proposed an incremental nearest neighbor query privacy protection method based on location semantics. In the client/server architecture, firstly, the method calculated the semantic security anonymous area according to the user's location privacy requirement, which protected the user's location privacy. Then, it filtered the semantic security anchor from the road intersection in the semantic security anonymous area as to ensure the semantic security was maximized, and the position of the anchor was real; then the client requested the service according to the anchor's location and got the query results. The experimental results show that the method can better protect the privacy of user's location, and the query accuracy is about 90% and the query time is about 60 ms.
