Resource allocation for D2D communication based on many-to-one Gale-Shapley algorithm

Abstract

In order to solve the problem of interference and spectrum optimization caused by D2D(device-to-device) communication multiplexing uplink channel of heterogeneous cellular networks, this paper proposed a resource allocation scheme based on many to one Gale-Shapley algorithm. It allowed multiple D2D users to share a cellular user channel resource and guaranteed the communication(QoS) of users by setting the threshold of signal to interference and noise ratio(SINR). The scheme constructed a preference list for D2D users and channels and maximized system total capacity based on channel allocation. Simulation results show that the scheme converges fast and has low complexity. The system total capacity is close to the optimal solution while guarantees the quality of service of users effectively. The research provides an effective scheme to realize the spectrum sharing between D2D users and cellular users and improve spectrum utilization.
